Welcome to one of the most beautiful and intact medieval centres in all Europe! Transfers to your downtown hotel depart Ruzyne Prague Airport at 09:00, 11:00 & 13:00 hours. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or amble down to the nearby Jewish Quarter and beautiful Old Town. As night falls, enjoy a Welcome Reception with drinks and a light informal meal. The following morning, meet a local expert guide at the 1000 year old Prague Castle, dominated by the soaring spires of St. Vitus’ cathedral. Walk in the footsteps of kings along cobblestone streets, past beautiful palaces for sweeping views over the city. Now descend to the Old Town Square where the mechanised antics of the Astronomical Clock’s glockenspiel delight onlookers each hour. Drive south through the forested Bohemian countryside to Cesky Krumlov nestled amidst loops of the Vltava River. Wander through the cobblestone, traffic free streets, back lanes and arch covered footpaths, past colourful houses that lead up to the finest castle in the land. On days when snow blankets the medieval buildings and wood smoke pervades the narrow streets - it’s a scene straight out of a Christmas card! This afternoon, cross the border and continue to the Austrian capital for dinner and overnight. Vienna owes much of its present day charm to the long reign of the Habsburgs, so after a relaxed breakfast, join your local guide for a private tour of Maria Theresa’s Schönbrunn Palace and formal gardens. Then get your cameras ready for a circuit of the famous ring road. This grand boulevard, built along the lines of the old city walls, show-cases many of the capital’s architectural masterpieces, including the Opera House, magnificent Hofburg Imperial Residence, the City Hall and Parliament. During Advent, Vienna is a place of nostalgia and romance, with concerts, nativity displays and traditional Christmas markets. Enjoy free time this afternoon to soak up the atmosphere or browse the elegant boutiques, pavement cafés and busy arcades of Kärtner Strasse.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner / Buffet Breakfast)

A short drive brings you to Bratislava, the fortified capital of Slovakia. Time here to walk from the banks of the Danube to the Old Town’s historic squares; all the while the four towered Bratislava Castle looms over the city. The Hungarian border is only a proverbial stone’s throw away. Home for the next two nights is amid the elegant grand boulevards of Budapest, former second city of the mighty Habsburg Empire! Relax and settle in. Next morning cross the Danube for a stroll through the lanes of the old town of Buda with a local guide. Admire the incredible interior decoration of Matthias Church and take in the view from the Fisherman’s Bastion. Back on the commercial Pest side, see the grand Parliament building and visit Heroes’ Square. The rest of the day is yours to browse the boutiques of Vaci Street. In December, the street is festively lit and the Christmas fair will be in full swing!
