This promotion is brought to you by Discount Coach Tours (DCT) and Globus Family of Brands (GFOB), including Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways.
By entering the promotion set out below (the "Promotion") you guarantee that you have the authority to accept (and do accept) these terms and conditions (the “Rules”).
DCT & GFOB reserve the right to cancel or amend the Rules in its absolute discretion and without prior notice due to unusual, unforeseeable events beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation.
In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules or the conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of DCT/GFOB shall be final and binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
- You must have purchased a GFOB vacations through DCT Between Feb 8 and Apr 30, 2016 and travel anytime in 2016 to be eligible for the entry to all application & participating destinations.
- You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a resident of Canada in order to be eligible to enter the Promotion ("Qualifying Participant"). This promotion is not applicable in the Province of Quebec.
- Employees or agents of the Sponsors or anyone else connected to the Promotion and/or their immediate family is not allowed to participate in the Promotion.
- All Qualifying participants during the Offer Period will be automatically entered into one draw for total of 2 winners.
- Prize: Win the value of your tour with a maximum value of $2,500 per person or $5,000 in total.
- The prize is applicable only on the tour/cruise portion and not applicable to airfare, insurance and any other ancillary products purchased.
- The winners will be selected in a random draw after 30 days from the Offer Period (the “Winning Participants”). The Winning Participants will receive the Prize after completion of their tour in 2016.
- The Winning Participants will be notified via email from DCT within two (2) working days of the draw.
- Any fees, cancellation fees or additional payments due which have resulted from changes made to the Winning Participant’s booking is payable by the Winning Entrant.
- The Prize is valid on GFOB services only and is non-transferable, non-changeable to any other person/s and cannot be exchanged for cash prior to completing the tour.
- Participants in this Promotion may not assign or transfer all or a part of their rights or benefits granted under this Promotion. No right or benefit assignment or transfer shall be valid. The Winning Entrant may lose the right to utilize the Prize if he or she does not exercise it within the period set forth by this promotion.
DCT & GFOB reserves the right to publish the Winning Entrant’s name and photograph in local, regional and/or national press and also to utilize photographs of the Winning Entrant for advertising and publicity purposes. By entering the Promotion you shall be deemed to have consented to the use of your name and photographs for these purposes.
- DCT / GFOB and/or their affiliates are not liable in any way for any costs, expenses, damages, liability or injury arising out of or in any way connected with the Promotion. This exclusion does not include any liability for damages for death or personal injury caused solely by the negligence of DCT / GFOB.
- DCT / GFOB accepts no liability (and excludes all liability) for any loss of profit, business, contracts, revenues or anticipated savings or for special, direct, indirect or consequential loss of any nature howsoever arising.
- DCT / GFOB shall not be liable to perform any of its obligations under the Promotion where it is unable to do so as a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control and shall not be liable to compensate you in such circumstances.
- You undertake the Promotion at your own risk and agree to indemnify DCT / GFOB against all costs, losses, damages, expenses and liabilities (including for loss of reputation and goodwill and professional advisors' fees) and any claim arising from your own actions in any way in connection with the Promotion or a breach of your obligations hereunder.
- Any Rules which are held to be invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction shall whenever allowed by the context be deemed to be replaced by such valid and enforceable terms and conditions whose contents are as close as permissible to those of the invalid or unenforceable Rules.
- Participation in this Promotion is void in any Province in which it is prohibited or otherwise rendered void by any applicable law or regulation. By allowing you to purchase and utilize Qualifying Tours, we make no representation or warranty that the Promotion is permitted by law in any given Province.
- These Rules are governed by the laws of and applicable in the Province of Ontario.
