Welcome to the timeless land of the Pharaohs. On arrival in Cairo, you are met and transferred to your hotel. After a restful night’s sleep, meet your Tour Director for a detailed tour briefing. Then ascend to the Citadel for breath-taking views over the city and a visit to the Alabaster Mosque. Continue to Tahrir Square, focal point of the 2011 Egyptian Revolution, and the Egyptian Museum. Among the many exhibits are the fabulous artefacts recovered from the tomb of King Tutankhamun. Later, drive to the Pyramids to witness the magical Sound and Light Show an unforgettable introduction to the world of ancient Egypt.(Buffet Breakfast)

Transfer to the airport for your flight south to Luxor, founded around the ancient site of Thebes. On arrival, drive immediately to Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built by man. Walk through the avenue of Ram-headed sphinxes, past the statue of Rameses II, to the vast Hypostyle Hall, housing 134 giant decorated columns. Later, get to know your cruise boat, and set sail for Dendara. The next morning watch ancient Egypt unfold before your very eyes from the comfort of your river cruise. During your time on board, enjoy included shore excursions to visit the temple complexes of Dendara, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Luxor Temple. There are also two sightseeing excursions by coach; the West Bank at Luxor, which includes a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and entry into some of the Pharaohs’ tombs in the Valley of the Kings. In Aswan your sightseeing includes a motorboat to the Philae Island temple complex, visits to the High Dam and unfinished obelisk in the granite quarries, plus a sail in a Nile felucca. The excursion concludes with an English high tea at sunset. Disembark your cruise and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Cairo for the night. After breakfast, begin with a visit to Memphis, famous capital of the ancient world. See the statue of Rameses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx then continue to the Step Pyramid of King Zoser at Sakkara. Now on to Giza where a guided tour takes you inside one of the famous Pyramids and brings you face to face with the Sphinx.(Buffet Breakfast / Buffet Breakfast)

The tour ends with transfers to Cairo airport.(Buffet Breakfast)
